I got a call late in the day of this past June from a colleague urgently looking for a second photographer. As I asked for more details, I found out that the wedding was very small and would be hosted just 2 blocks from my house. It was a perfect opportunity to spend my Thursday afternoon helping a friend and capturing a sweet love story.

The Groom just returned home from basic training in the Marines, and was reassigned so the wedding was quickly organized so both couple could be together moving forward. This was strictly a ceremony and small intimate blessing over cake for the happy new couple. The couple knew each other since high school and were comfortably in love. They had a very strong connection and their friends were so supportive that day with joyful energy for their next steps as husband and wife.

It was so beautiful to watch this small group laugh and enjoy each other's company. The small connections they made were fun to capture.

If you are having a small intimate wedding, Historic Marietta is a great option for your celebration. There are several venues and churches in town that can accommodate your needs for all budgets and tastes.
